Step 1:

• The first step is to lay out the boundary wire in the shape and place you want the invisible fence to be. Run the twisted wire to the transmitter and plug it in.

Step 2:

• Hammer the Securing Staple over the wire about every five – six feet. Afterwards, check for any spots that the wire is still raised. If you see any raised wire, staple it to the ground. The wire must be completely flushed to the ground to ensure safety.

Step 3:

• Another Securing Staple will go where twisted wire and the beginning of the invisible fence meet. If there is a splice, bury the splice about two inches deep. Place a staple in front of and behind the splice to relieve pressure on it.

Step 4:

• Place a staple at each corner of the yard. If the yard is not square, just pick out sections that will act as anchor points. Continue to add staples to any place that requires it. Any raised wire will be a tripping hazard, so take care to avoid this.
